About
“The Society of Construction Law France promotes the study and development of French construction law, in collaboration with other domestic and international organizations, notably on issues related to execution of construction contracts, in France and around the world, as well as dispute resolution.”
SCL France is open to everyone with an interest in construction law and how it affects their work – not just lawyers. We welcome members from all over the world.
SCL France was launched in 2024, and is affiliated with the Society of Construction Law in the UK, which was formed in 1983.
The Society is strictly independent of commercial interests. It exists not to promote individuals or businesses, but to act as a forum for the better understanding of construction law and its practical application in the industry.
Commissions
Public and private procurement
The “Public and Private Procurement” Commission aims to become a forum where real-life construction experiences can be shared, enabling participants to learn from each other, and reaching out to all those involved in construction projects from design to operation. The commission is therefore open to anyone interacting with the construction industry, not just lawyers or legal experts.
If you wish to be noticed of future events or get involved in the “Public and Private Procurement” commission, representatives can be reached out through the contact form.
Advisory and contract management
If you wish to be noticed of future events or get involved in the “Advisory and Contract Management” commission, representatives can be reached out through the contact form.
Dispute resolution
If you wish to be noticed of future events or get involved in the “Dispute Resolution” commission, representatives can be reached out through the contact form.
